I was going to write something thoughtful here about identity and aging and our relationships with stuff to balance out this fiesta of narcissism, but I ran out of time. I was busy relating to my stuff packing, you see. But after all the times this summer I had to swallow my pride and ask a housemate or friend to take my picture, I could not let these photos languish forever. Besides, I hate not seeing a plan through to its fruition, and my plan was to wear and document all of my undeniably awesome summer hats before they all had to be packed away. Sorry Denmark, I don't think you could handle it.
